A spreading, small deciduous tree to 7 or 8m, with large green leaves arranged alternately. Plumeria is known for its profuse, fragrant flowers arranged on terminal buds through the summer. These are often used as cut flowers, and for perfume. Also known for its brittle branches and an irritating sap. Grown in milder parts of the U.S., India and Australia, where it is known as “Frangipanis.”Photo to follow..
