Ginkgo biloba

There are several examples of both young and mature Ginkgo specimens running throughout the area. It’s a deciduous tree with distinctive, lobed foliage which turns an attractive bright yellow in autumn, and as with several other deciduous species in the Parque, even in the winter months the ghostly grey branches contrast well against the backdrop of dominant evergreen planting (see photos below).
