Jacaranda mimosifolia
Jacaranda is a common, but nevertheless spectacular, sight in the streets of Malaga and other Spanish cities. The violet coloured flowers appear in late Spring and then proceed to fade and drop confetti like onto the ground below. There are several examples throughout the Parque, including some stately mature specimens, easily identifiable if you are visiting at that time of the year.
